Using Only the Best Violin Mic

Back when I was still deciding what musical instrument to learn, it took me a while to decide. I found it difficult to choose, particularly because I did not have much, if any, background in music to help me with my decision making. All I really had was my desire to be a musician, just a determination to make music, but something that becomes a little vague when it comes to the actual details. It was a friend who influenced me to choose the violin, and I am forever grateful for his suggestion. Even though I had some difficulties, especially initially, becoming a violinist has been a really enjoyable experience. I am happy with it, and continue to learn what I can to become a better violin player.

I am not interested in simply playing the instrument. My goal is to be a good violin player, being as adept technically as possible. There is no point in being simply able to use the violin and the bow, as anyone who is interested enough and has some musical capacity is likely to achieve. There are so many aspects to it that I still want to learn and become more adept at. I also have some hopes of going beyond performing, since I am already able to do that. I’d really like to be able to instruct young people who also have the same aspirations as I do with regards to the violin. But that can only happen once I am already qualified and I am satisfied that I can impart the knowledge properly.

Violin Mics

Part of my learning process is learning all that I could about violin mics as possible. Making up my mind to get only the best violin mic has made it necessary that I do some research about the subject. This is made necessary by the fact that are actually many different violin mics on available on the market, and each one might be for recording or amplifying the instrument. However making sure that the mic amplifies everything well is not that easy. There are certainly a few things to consider when trying to record or amplify a live musical performance, particularly if it involves several musical instruments and not just a single one, like the violin that I play. Three of the things that need to be considered are the following:

• The level of volume that the violinist will be playing, and if he is playing with others, how loud they would play should also be taken into consideration

• Distance of the violin player from the other instruments should also be considered, and

• Whether the violinist is the one leading or is the one who’s following
